Many thanks to Wendy from Trazarra Persians for entrusting me with Salem, he is such a stunning looking boy and has added so much to my program.

Salem has done so well for us on the show bench, starting from his first show as a kitten.  During kitten classes he took out best of breed as well as best of group and group placings, and finished the year as GCCFV 3rd best kitten of the year.  As an adult, he has had many placings as either Reserve and Best Persian in show, as well as many group wins, and supreme in show awards, and been placed at each National show he has attended.   He has also now replicated his magnificent father in taking out Supreme Longhair Exhibit and Supreme Exhibit at the Royal Melbourne Agricultural show, against some very stiff competition, with Jan Rogers saying the minute she saw him that he was “presented to perfection and he was the cat to beat, and that no one did” .  He is such an incredible cat, with such a  gentle temperament, and loves nothing more than a cuddle watching TV with mum.  He loved the show bench, and showing off , making him a perfect breed ambassador, and his kittens show every sign of having just the same great nature and looks as him.  He is retired now from showing, having nothing left to prove, retiring as a 3 time winner of Cat of the Year, and will now let the next generation do the hard work of looking glamorous for the bench – if they’re half the cat he is, they will be hard to beat indeed!!
